Project Description

Project involved the design of a new 138kV-25kV, 20MVASubstation at Clyde River, PEI.

Scope of Work

The specific scope of the project included the following elements:

Preparation of general arrangement drawings, and overall site plan for the substation.
Preparation of civil earthworks design including design drawings and specifications (Sub-consultant Brian Latimer, P.Eng.)
Preparation of design drawings and specifications for the galvanized steel structures and the associated concrete bases for 138kV and 25kV equipment
Design of substation fence.
Design of concrete cable trench, cable tray and conduit system between the control building and the substation equipment.
Design of all bulk power system interconnections.
